Day of action in Victoria |
||
|
Yesterday, officers from the St James’s Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, working alongside Westminster City Council and London Heritage Quarter, carried out a Day of Action in the Victoria area as part of our ongoing efforts to support community safety and address street-based issues.
During the deployment, officers engaged with a number of individuals across several hot spots within the ward. These interactions focused on welfare checks, safeguarding concerns and addressing antisocial behaviour affecting the local area.
As part of the operation: These partnership operations allow us to address concerns raised by residents and businesses while also ensuring that vulnerable individuals are directed towards the appropriate support services. We would like to thank Westminster City Council, London Heritage Quarter, and members of the community for their continued support and cooperation.
If you witness a crime or someone is in immediate danger, please call 999. For non-emergency matters, you can contact police on 101 or report information online via the Metropolitan Police website. You can also speak directly with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team, who remain committed to working with residents, businesses and partners to keep our community safe.
